12 year old Mustang Gelding
ADOPTED – Congratulations to Phoebe and Annie Bechtolt for their adoption of Vertigo!
Vertigo is a very special Mustang! When our Head Trainer, Stephanie adopted her first Mustang in 2007, that mare was pregnant. Vertigo is the foal who was born in March of 2008. Vertigo spent most of his life with a dear friend of Stephanie, but recently came back to Stephanie and he is simply too nice of a horse to sit here on the back burner! So Vertigo is looking for his perfect home.
Vertigo is a well built, beautiful, show stopper of a Mustang and he has the skills to back up his appearance.
Vertigo is a soft, well balanced horse. He is bold and powerful and excels when he is given a job.
Vertigo has been started correctly, rides quiet and smoothly and would make an excellent ranch horse, all-around horse, or reining horse. He has an aptitude for stopping and really can tuck his hind end in the beginning stages of a slide. He turns correctly and softly and does not need to be babysat. He collects up beautifully in a snaffle or a bridle and holds frame without difficulty. He has speed, agility, and power … though he is not mean and has no bad habits under saddle, he is not a horse for beginner riders. He needs a rider who can give him a job and have high expectations from him. He does not disappoint.
He has carried a rope, can drag things, has no issue with ropes around his legs/butt. He has done herd work but has not roped. He is built strong and I believe would make an excellent ranch horse.
He would make an excellent ambassador for Mustangs, can ride in parades and public events, and would make a showstopping trick/demo horse!
